Updated: Feb 26, 2019

If you are looking to prepare an special breakfast to your Valentine's you should prepare this sweet, earthy and Red coffee that says "I Love You" with every sip.

Red velvet has been a tradition of my parents on Valentine's day and here I give you their eternal love recipe:

Red Velvet Coffee Recipe:

  • 1 cup of cashew milk or whole milk.

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup.

  • 3 oz of unsweetened chocolate chunks.

  • 1/4 tsp beet juice.

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.

  • 1/2 cup fresh brewed coffee. My parents recommend medium roast from Kafetero coffee for this recipe.

  • Place milk in medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer on medium heat.

  • Add chocolate chunks to the hot milk and slowly stir until melted.

  • Remove from heat and pour on coffee cup.

  • Add to the coffee cup the beet juice and vanilla.

  • Serve warm.

As topping you can add some coconut or regular whip cream, (See instructions for homemade coconut whipped cream, no sugar, organic, here) cinnamon, cocoa or vanilla powder.

With so many healthy minded coffee drinks. I am thinking on writing about how to make a healthy home made whip cream with no sugar. Stay connected and subscribe to our blogs on the bottom of this page to know when we publish our secret healthy coffee recipes.
